It automatically calculates and displays the UV index based on the intensity of UVA and UVB.
To prevent skin and other health issues in children and adults caused by strong ultraviolet rays, we recommend using the UV intensity meter UV-6.5.
Excessive exposure to ultraviolet rays, which has been pointed out as a problem in recent years, causes various health issues, including an increased risk of skin cancer and cataracts. Against this backdrop, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP), and the German Federal Office for Radiation Protection (GEORP) have developed the UV Index.
